LHA Blemish Ampoule

Karena sempet takut sama BHA, aku coba pakai produk ini. Turns out efeknya lumayan makan waktu dan somehow bikin jerawatku hilang 1 tumbuh 1. Produk ini sama sekali gak bikin kering, malah menghidrasi banget. Maybe if you have dry skin you’ll love this one. For me ternyata BHA is the answer I am looking for.

You don't know how much I love Rovectin and it's principle value, also this product 💜 it comes with a handy packaging, eco-friendly, with a nice dropper that really works well.. the texture is unbelieveably comforting my skin, it comes as a gel but once it touches your skin then it suddenly melts into your skin fast and beautifully, there's a slight cooling effect also 🤩 it really makes my skin looks fresher and brighter, so I can tell that it's all because of the exfoliate thingy, the LHA, a more gentle but effective exfoliator for sensitive skin like mine, it didn't irritate my skin but still leaving my skin plump and moist.. I'm on my 3rd bottle btw, and it still works like a miracle to my skin, a savior to my irritated and in maskne condition skin 💜 #ThankYouRovectin

I used this product as a spot treatment for my acne scars and I would not say that this product can heal acne and fade scars overnight, but it slowly but surely does its job. I have indeed enjoyed using this as part of my night routine as it gets absorbed easily without leaving any tackiness. I did not expect much, but this product actually works 😆 If you have a sensitive skin and you find AHA, BHA & PHA strong for you, then I'll suggest to try this ampoule.

This supposed to be an exfoliating product in a very gentle way. Sepanjang pakai ini, ngerasa kalau produk ini itu bagus utk mengatasi jerawat2 yg inflamed with whitehead in it. Jerawat yg biasanya semingguan baru hilang, kalau rutin dipakaikan ampoule ini jadi butuh 3-4 hari. Teksturnya kelihatan thick seperti gel tapi begitu kontak dgn permukaan kulit jadi light dan ga kerasa berat. Ga ada rasa lengket juga setelah pakai ampoule ini. I usually apply this ampoule only on my trouble spot, jadi 15 mL itu bisa awet. Definitely a good product and would repurchase again in the future

So LHA here stands for Lipo Hydroxy Acid, which is a derivative of salicylic acid (BHA). Jenis LHA yang dipakai dlm ampoule ini adalah capryloyl salicylic acid (0.01%). So as you might’ve already guessed, this is a very MILD exfoliant serum. Jangan dibandingkan dengan produk exfoliant dari brand2 western skincare ya karena memang di Korea itu regulasinya ketat utk exfoliants, nothing above 0.5% for BHA products. Aku pake LHA ini as a spot treatment khusus di daerah jawline yang rawan kluar hormonal acne. I use it twice daily (morning and night) and it works so well, definitely non-irritating and it’s also quite hydrating. Sejak rutin pake selama kurang lebih 2 mingguan, daerah jawline jadi jarang muncul acne lagi dan bekas2 PIH nya pun pudar lebih cepat. Selain LHA, ampoule ini juga mengandung glutathione + niacinamide sebanyak 2% dan neroli water sebanyak 85%! I am a sucker for anything neroli these days because of its potent brightening and anti bacterial effect on my skin. There’s also a bunch of soothing and calming ingredients such as urea, panthenol, allantoin, aloe and beta glucan. In addition, it contains a handful of HA molecules as well as glycerin. Efek yang paling kerasa di kulitku itu ampoule ini bagus banget buat soothing inflammed acne spots, merah2nya langsung reda dan kempesan soon after application. Tapi aku rasa tetep perlu ya pake additional spot gel yang lebih potent buat stubborn acne. Teksturnya itu thick gel, and I don’t need a lot because I use it as a spot treatment, so literally about 1 small drop of it, not a whole dropper (!) loh.. gelnya itu slippery jadi memang gak butuh banyak2 for an even-spread application. Gak ada scent nya sama sekali tapi sayangnya after feelnya itu tacky/lengket di kulit, apalagi kalo aku pake ke seluruh muka suka jadi greasy lama2. That’s why I used it as a spot treatment aja. It works well with other serums, no pilling whatsoever. Aku rasa walaupun sizenya kecil 15ml tapi ini bakalan awet.

Pertama pakai product ini waktu kulit lagi breakout dan kering parah. Awal pemakaian aku combine sama cucumber tonernya kiehls, tapi setelah 1 mingguan aku cuma pakai Rovectin Clean nya aja. Aku suka krn nggak ada bau menyengatnya, texture seperti oil tapi light banget dan langsung menyerap. Agak berasa kenceng sih kulit setelah pakai ini, tapi nggak irritating. Mungkin baiknya di combine hydrating toner yang cocok ya. Hampir sebulan aku pakai ini, berasa kulit lebih cerah dan whiteheads berkurang. Jadi nggak gampang jerawatan juga. Aku combine dengan mulberry ampoule dari apieu sih untuk noda-noda bekas jerawatnya supaya lebih cepat pudar. Overall it's a yes from me.
