This perfume isn’t for everyone. That’s all I wanted to say right at the start. Funnily enough, my dad loves this perfume and I was really surprised to find out that it’s actually for women, but after taking a whiff, it turns out it’s also very suitable for grown men. My dad has repurchased this perfume several times and has never bought any other brand. It’s as if, the moment I inhale it, my mind immediately drifts to my father’s face. This perfume seems to pierce through my memories with its alluring spicy aroma. So, for those who prefer lighter scents, Samsara will never be the right choice. For me, this perfume will always hold a special place in my life, it reminds me of my father.

Samsara takes you back to the time in late 80's or early 90's when big hair is still a trend. It's sensual, bold, powdery and woodsy. Harus hati2 pakainya, karena di awal wanginya bisa agak strong, tapi kalau sudah dry down jadi enak banget bahkan bisa tahan berhari2 kalau di baju.Disarankan pakainya ketika cuaca sedang dingin, atau di ruangan ber-ac.

Mamaku pecinta parfum-parfum Guerlain dari dulu. Jadi di rumah ada banyak sekali parfum Guerlain, salah satunya Samsara ini. Saya tidak tahu apakah ada yang jual ini resmi di Indonesia atau tidak. Wanginya rempah-rempah, oud. Nuansanya klasik. Menurut saya ini cocok dikenakan malam hari.

Menurutku parfum ini wanginya nusuk banget ya. Setiap aku pake langsung pusing dan eneg gitu deh. Wanginya agak terlalu tua menurutku tapi memang tahan lama. Botolnya lumayan elegan dan classy banget cuman satu aja, wanginya terlalu bikin pusing

Parfume yang ini beneran bikin saya seperti oma2. Aromanya gak nyangka se-rempah ini. Dulu waktu beli via ol jadi gak nyangka kalau wanginya se old lady ini (beneran nyesel juga beli gak pakai ngeliat review) 🤦🏼♀️

It's a classic from Guerlain so i had to try. Read that Samsara is a fave of late first Indonesian president somewhere.. Thank goodness i sampled this first. It's too bold at least for me.. All i smell is sandalwood. No other notes grow on. Off to try shalimar..

If you love Sandalwood, Ylang Ylang, and jasmine like I do, then you would love this.A lit bit heavy for everyday wear, espesially Jakarta which is hot as hell. But it will be perfect for saturday night date in a romantic place, or in my case, uses it during meeting in a cold room :)
